There is always great discussion/fear/interpretation about the results of ASQA audits. However Alex Schroder posted an interesting article in Linkedin summarising a presentation by the Chief Commissioner of ASQA outlining where RTO’s are failing audits.

In summary Alex said that Chris Robinson (Chief Commissioner) identified the following areas:

  • Quality of training (in 53% of audits)
  • Quality of assessment tools (in 53% of audits)
  • Reliability of assessment outcomes (in 63% of audits)
  • Knowledge and skills of Trainers and Assessors (in 47% of audits)
  • Lack of systematic validation and moderation (in 53% of audits)
