Our blog

The one thing we at Ammonite are not good at is marketing, but really we don’t have to be because our most vocal supporters are our customers (and their clients). Whenever one of our staff has a free minute it’s not unusual to find them with a smile on their face going through the recorded webcam feedback provided to Inscope Training by some of their students who have completed their courses. Their feedback is just great.

In response to recent media reports which claim that overseas organisations are providing false diplomas from Australian educational institutions for up to $6500 each, the Chief Commissioner (ASQA), last Friday, reminded RTO’s that they have a responsibility to have “mechanisms in place to reduce fraudulent reproduction of its certification.”

Back in April 2014, we posted a video that shows one bulletproof mechanism that all but eliminates potential fraud. It is really great to see that this 'solution' has now made it onto the list of fraud prevention steps provided by ASQA.

Back on 2010 I was involved, with others, in the creation of a report partially funded by Australian Flexible Learning Framework that provides a “Guide for Quality Online Quizzes”. This document was prepared to provide assessors, RTO quality managers, auditors and anyone considering introducing e-learning with advice on the design and security of online quizzes.
